The Northern Ireland Clinical Trials Unit (NICTU) provides researchers and clinicians with multi-disciplinary support for the design and conduct of high quality Clinical Trials and other research studies. The CTU support services cover all aspects of trial activity including study design, protocol development, health economics, randomisation, trial management, data management, statistical analysis and publication. We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Trials coordinator to assist in the management of CTU supported Clinical Trials. The Clinical Trial Coordinator will assist the Clinical Trial manager and CTU team in the execution of trial management processes, ensuring Clinical Trials are conducted to the highest quality standard and applicable regulatory requirements, timelines and budget. Reporting to the Clinical Trial manager, the Clinical Trial co-ordinator will play a pivotal role in the set-up and administration of Clinical Trial(s) within the CTU and in the collection and monitoring of Clinical Trial data. The Clinical Trial Coordinator would be expected to travel within the UK, Ireland and Europe, and be willing to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job..

University Degree or recognised qualification & 2 years experience in a clinical research environment OR HNC / HND or equivalent & 3 years experience in a clinical research environment OR 5 years experience in a clinical research environment.Experience in staff management. , Experience of managing a clinical trial or health related project.
