Cloud Infrastructure Product Owner

Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: At least 2 days per week in our Manchester office.
About this Opportunity
We're a Data Platform Engineering team, accountable to architect, build and extend cloud capabilities from Ingest to Insight for use across the Lloyds Banking Group (LBG)
You as a Technical Product owner, will be accountable to build and extend a foundational Cloud Platform; automate and scale data ingest and transformation workflows; automate user provisioning and drive developer productivity by delivering resilient CI/CD pipelines and bring in new cloud capability to support improvements in Data Governance, BI Self service, MLOps and introduction of GenAI and drive self-service across LBG.
The purpose of the Product Owner is to take the overall ownership for a single product backlog which typically contains 2-3 feature teams or technology component teams.
You'll typically be a Lab or Team Lead (containing 2-3 Feature or Component teams), reporting into the Lab Product Owner.
Role Responsibilities
Understand the Technology landscape to build and run a cloud platform to enable self service
Envision cloud native products and services including User provisioning, Data Ingest, Data transformation, Governance and Analytics to serve the Bank with a resilient cloud platform.
Engage Business Units and other Labs, Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Security to analyse user stories for customer journey improvements
You'll define user stories at Lab or Team level to meet customer needs
Shape Product Backlog and work with Engineering team to clarify questions on requirements and unblock them
Prioritise, refines and manages Lab or Team Product backlog and contribute to Product vision and roadmap at Lab or Team level
You'll be accountable for Product change governance and compliance of the solutions we deliver and readiness activities (e.g., training and comms, testing and readiness for implementation) for their respective features, journeys or technology components.
Take responsibility for developing and delivering change management plans and achieving outcomes that support the organisation's overall strategy.
You'll meet the needs of significant customers related to a range of products and services and/or manages a customer advisor team over a given area.
Support development of Lab or Team OKRs and provides product performance and benefits realisation data
You'll take responsibility to formally grow capabilities within a significant functional area of the business, while personally investing in the growth of own and others' capabilities elsewhere in the organisation through mentoring and other informal methods.
What you'll need
Experience in delivering IAM, Data Pipelines and CI/CD Pipelines solutions
Experience in delivering Data Management solutions for Cataloguing, Lineage and Data Quality
Strong experience in working with Architects and Compliance teams
Strong experience in creating and developing Product Backlog
Experience in agile methodologies, SAFe, tooling and ceremonies.
Experience in building cloud platforms in Banking/Financial Service Industry
Knowledge of GCP
Extensive experience in Product Management
Strong Stakeholder Management
Experience in delivering Automation and self-service
Desirable skills include
Experience in Data Loss Prevention, Tokenisation, Automation of User Provisioning
Experience in Migration to Cloud
Strong understanding of Cloud Data Architecture and knowledge of Data Lakes, Data Mesh
