SalaryResponsibilities:
- Have broad responsibilities to engineer and secure core Azure platform services across the global footprint.
- Strong Cloud Network engineering, adopting Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Engineer and administer Next-Gen CASB solutions to gain visibility and control over Cloud applications/data.
- Advance branch SD-WAN solutions to optimise network performance and connectivity for remote locations.
- Experience with a global SASE network infrastructure that integrates with existing traditional network components (LAN, WAN).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, operations, and application teams, to ensure the SASE architecture aligns with business needs and IT strategies.
- Develop and maintain network design documents, including topology diagrams, network segmentation plans, and security policies.
- Configure and deploy SASE components, such as SD-WAN, Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS).
- Experience of working within an Azure Environment and infrastructure such as Python/PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps CI/CD and Kubernetes
- Improve operational processes and build monitoring that alerts on symptoms rather than outages.
- Establish and maintain network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation processes to ensure high availability and quality of service.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Windows server, virtualisation, containerisation technologies on Azure.
- A strong passion for Network Security and continual learning and development.
- Keen interest in open-source development and continual learning in Azure technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud platform and associated networking services.
- Knowledge of network security best practices, including Zero Trust, least-privilege access, and micro-segmentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, SASE Certified Architect
