Form of worki2 Group, a Harris Computer company, are seeking to appoint Apprentices to work under the guidance of more experienced developers, to learn the skills and techniques necessary to become a Dev/Ops Platform Developer.
i2 and its customers are following the industry shift to cloud. As part of our modernization approach and shift to SaaS offerings, we have established a Cloud Platform Team. Within this team we have identified and wish to strengthen the role of Platform Developers. The apprentices will learn the skills required for this role.
In performing this position the Apprentices will:
- Identify and apply Cloud (AWS) technology to automate the deployment of i2 software
- Develop software following an agile methodology such as Scrum
- Use a process of collaborative design and review to deliver high quality software, as efficiently as possible
- Embrace a culture of self-directed learning to adopt and refine the skills needed for software development
- Enable the success of others by documenting and demonstrating the work the team deliver
