The Client
Our client is at the fore front of the subcontract precision engineering sector. Due to growth, they now require a CMM Inspector.
The Role:
- Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or Faro.
- Program CMM and report relevant data.
- Inspection of goods in, goods out, subcontract work and all purchased parts.
- Magnetic Particle Inspection.
- In process and finished goods inspection.
- Process auditing.
- Calibration of measuring equipment.
- Signing first and last inspection reports.
- Reporting of non-conforming parts.
- Working 4-day week, 37 hours Monday-Thursday.
The Person:
- Previous inspection experience essential.
- Must be able to program CMM machine.
- Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thickness and echo meters.
- Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Good communication skills.
- Good housekeeping.
