Cnc Lathe Setter Operator

The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a CNC Lathe Setter Operator for a manufacturer based in Halstead, Essex.
Experience required:
Knowledge of factory/machine shop practices.
Ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
Previous setting / programming knowledge of CNC lathes
Previous Fanuc CNC lathe experience
Job Summary
Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
Test operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs
Use of cranes and forklifts
Key requirements
Proven experience as a CNC Machine Setter Operator / Programmer
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools.
Co-ordination and control skills.
Time management skills.
Possess an attention to detail.
Decision-making skills
Good communication skills
Team working ability.
Ability to adapt to change.
Tool setting
Part inspection
Working Hours (40 hour working week)
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm
