The Role

My client is a leading manufacturer in their field, supplying machinery to some of the biggest brands across the globe.
They are looking to bring in a CNC Machinist, with knowledge of Turning and Milling to expand their team.

Main Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Turning machines.
• Set and operate CNC Milling machines.
• Set and operate conventional machines.
• Quality check machined parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Observe and practice 5S principles.

CNC Machinist

The Candidate

• Ideally be time served in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Must have previous CNC Turning & Milling experience.
• Previous experience using Fanuc, Mazatrol & Heidenhain would be adventitious.
• Be proficient at set up, operation and adjustment of tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools as well as conventional turning & milling machines would be preferred.
