Position Overview: As a Manual Machinist, you will play a crucial role in their production process, responsible for crafting high-quality tools and components to exact specifications. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to their mission of delivering excellence to clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and work with precision measurement tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
