SalaryWe’re hiring for a CNC Programmer to join and experienced and dedicated workforce at a well established engineering firm in Bury, Manchester.
Working with world leading companies across a range of industries, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Programmer to join a close-knit team in a period of exciting growth.
What’s on offer?
- £16.00 - £17.00 per hour + company bonus scheme
- Overtime x 1.5
- Monday Thursday 7:00am 4:30pm
- 24 holidays plus bank holidays
- Onsite parking
What will you be doing as a CNC Programmer?
- Meeting production deadlines ensuring that the appropriate checks have been carried out and work to ISO9001 standard
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel, and cast iron on MTE milling machines
- Working to machining tolerances ensuring that the completed component is checked against the required specifications
What do you need?
- A minimum of 3 years’ milling experience in a busy sub-contract environment
- Online programming experience on Heidenhain
- Offline programming experience would be an advantage
- A good understanding of best manufacturing processes is essential
- The ability to work under your own initiative, forward thinking and proactive
- Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Fork Truck licence would be advantageous
