Responsibilities:
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Fanuc programming, and experience with Siemens and Acramatic systems would be a valuable asset.
• Technical Interpretation: Interpretation of drawings and is a crucial aspect of the role, ensuring accurate and precise production.
• Small Production Runs: Manage small production runs of special fasteners in various materials, showcasing your versatility and technical skills.
• In-Process Inspection: Conduct thorough in-process inspection of your work to maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Workplace Organization: Maintain clean and tidy workstations, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality standards to ensure that products are produced to agreed specifications, consistently delivering work of a high standard.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with colleagues, promoting successful teamwork and contributing to a positive work culture.
Requirements:
• Ideally Apprentice Trained: Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship in a relevant field, showcasing a commitment to hands-on learning and skill development.
• Time Served/Equivalent Experience: Proven experience in a precision machining environment, demonstrating time served or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Competent in Fanuc Controls and Programming: Possess a high level of competence in Fanuc controls and programming, with the ability to edit, re-run tools, move offsets, and safely prove unproven programs.
• Inspection Proficiency: Be competent in inspecting your own work using linear measuring equipment and gauges to verify product quality, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
• Versatility in Controls: Be conversant with other controls, with a preference for experience in Acramatic and Siemens.
• CNC Milling and Machining Centers (Preferable): While not mandatory, experience in CNC milling (C&Y Axis), machining centers, multi-axis, and sub-spindle operations would be highly advantageous.
• Working to Close Tolerances: Demonstrate the ability to work to close tolerances, ensuring the precision and accuracy of the produced components.
• Materials Expertise: Have experience working with a diverse range of materials, including but not limited to Carbon & Stainless Steels, Super Duplex, Inconel, Titanium, Mild Steels, Brass, Aluminium-Bronze, Bronzes, Aluminium, Plastics, etc.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and resolution.
• Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative team environment, contributing positively to the overall success of the team and the organization.
• Flexible: Be adaptable and flexible, able to handle a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Working hours:
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:30-16:30pm & Friday 07:30am– 2:00pm.
Salary:
Dependent on level of experience.
