Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs for milling and lathe operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to meet quality standards and production goals.
- Troubleshoot and debug programs and machinery to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
- Implement best practices for CNC programming, tooling selection, and machining techniques.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to maintain product integrity.
- Document processes, procedures, and modifications for future reference and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC programmer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX).
- Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
