Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
MTL Advanced is actively seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Operator with great attention to detail and a strong focus on meeting quality standards to join our team of machinists. This is a highly skilled role and we are looking to recruit the best talent on the market.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
· Set up, programme and operate CNC machines (Fanuc Controls)
· Interpret technical drawings and program CNC machine accordingly
· Coach, mentor and develop trainees within the team
· Supervise machines during operation, making real-time adjustments for enhanced results
· Check the completed products for precision, ensuring alignment with specifications
· Promptly report and document any discrepancies in machine or tooling operations
· Engage proactively with the engineering and production teams to meet and exceed quality benchmarks
ABOUT YOU:
· Demonstrated experience as a highly skilled CNC Programmer within the steel industry
· Experience with Fanuc controls
· Experience with precision measurement instruments
· Ability to seamlessly interpret technical drawings
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting and critical thinking skills and generate innovative concepts and ideas
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
· Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
· Able to demonstrate excellent manufacturing practices and be able to select tooling and machining resources for the manufacture of parts
· Strong mathematical skills
