Polytec are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator for our Ely based client to operate a variety of milling machines.
Responsibilities:
* Setting up new jobs* Reading and interpretation of very complex drawings* Documenting work done accurately and comprehensively* Review parts produced, drawings or instructions to understand required specifications* Monitor machine while working to achieve optimum outputs* Always looking for continuous improvement in all processes
Requirements:
* Able to read and understand complex drawings* A good eye for detail* The ability to program complex parts both at the machine or using an offline CAD system* Understand the importance of customer requirements and achieving deadlines* Ability to work to very tight tolerances (microns)* Willing and able to run multiple machines, maximising productivity and efficiencies
