SalaryContek are currently working with a subcontract precision engineering copmany, located in Liversedge, West Yorkshire. They are a general subcon machine shop, who machine parts and components for the Automotive, Nuclear, and Transmissions industries.
They are currently looking to recruit 2x CNC Lathe Setter/Operators to join their team, as they have recently had a dramatic increase to their production contracts.
The role will involve the setting and operating of Doosan Puma lathes, which run on Fanuc controls. No programming experience is needed, as it's purely setting the parts and running the lathe.
This position would involve 1 week's training on days, before moving onto a permanent afternoon shift. The working hours for the role are Monday to Thursday (2PM until 10:30 PM) and Friday (10AM until 5PM).
The pay for the position is 13.50 per hour as a basic, plus an extra 2 per hour shift allowance. The total hourly pay for the role is 15.50 per hour.
