Salary: £47k p/a Up to £23 per hour
Location: Based near Pangbourne, Reading
Hours: 40 hours per week, COMPLETELY FLEXIBLE HOURS. (3, 4, or 5-day week) you choose your hours! (As long as you complete your 40 hours per week)
Overtime: Overtime usually available and it is paid at time and a half.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join our client based near Pangbourne, Reading. As a CNC Turner, you will primarily work on low-volume and one-off projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in CNC turning and be familiar with operating HAAS and Fanuc lathes using G codes.
CNC Turner Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines, specifically HAAS and Fanuc lathes.
- Program using Fanuc controls on CNC lathes
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Perform precision machining operations to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
CNC Turner Profile
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner, working with low-volume and one-off projects.
- Proficiency in operating HAAS and Fanuc lathes and familiarity with G codes.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
