Coach Drivers
Edwards is at the forefront of the transport industry and is very proud of its team that delivers the safest and highest standards of customer service. We continue to grow from strength to strength and as part of this growth we are looking to recruit Coach Drivers to work out of our Depot in Avonmouth, Bristol as part of our long term National Express Contract.
You will drive a state-of-the-art coach and take your passengers to their destination in safety, on time and in comfort.
Naturally, safety is paramount and you’ll operate within legal requirements such as tachographs, VDFs and drivers hours’ regulations. You’ll also be there to ensure all vehicle defects and any incidents are reported in line with company procedures.

In return all we ask is that you:
- Hold a category D license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Hold a current Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- Good working knowledge of EC drivers hours and tachograph regulations (don’t worry, we will train you to our high standards).
- Give customers a safe & pleasant journey by always driving professionally.
- Ideally you will have long distance coach driving experience and need to be of a reasonable fitness level as you will be required to assist with luggage loading and unloading.
