As a Collateral Exposure Management Associate in the Collateral Exposure Management and Agency Securities Finance team, you will be responsible for the oversight and settlement of Collateral trades, and managing inraday exposures generated from new lending activity. You will be resolving complex inquiries, communicate with various clients and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Processes and settles the daily collateral trades
- Calculates non-cash & cash Collateral Exposures, works closely with the borrower community to ensure collateral is delivered and corrects margins
- Marks previously settled loans, to account for fluctuation in securities price, to ensure collateral is maintained to correct margins
- Understands cash flows and manual payment processing
- Reconciles daily and reports intraday and end of day items
- Manages cash break
- Works alongside the trade desks, triparty agents, treasury services and counterparties
- Deals with a high volume of queries relating to product understanding, settlement of collateral and general reconciliation breaks
- Manages client relationships and liaises with relationship managers to maintain client expectations
