Join us as a Colleague Journey Developer

  • This is an opportunity for you to create and drive the delivery of the journey backlog, and effectively prioritise work to maintain completion of releasable increments in every sprint
  • We’ll look to you to contribute to the creation and delivery of all products and services required to meet the Colleague Journey vision for Join & Move
  • You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact as you support our business strategy and shape the way we move forward

As a Colleague Journey Developer, you’ll be understanding and utilising key mechanisms and frameworks to anticipate and identify colleague needs to deliver and improve colleague experience. You’ll also be driving all business performance and proposition activities, making sure the journey runs effortlessly with true colleague focus.

You’ll help to shape direction of travel for process and system enhancements, and will articulate and measure the benefits that your changes will deliver for colleagues, candidates, and the business.

We’ll look to you to collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve the sprint goals as part of a fully accountable self-organising team and provide subject matter expertise to the journey and goal.

Additionally, you’ll be:

  • Driving and delivering a prioritised journey backlog to improve the end-to-end journey, including identifying opportunities to improve and making empowered decisions
  • Giving inputs and delivering journey mapping, service blueprinting, process mapping and more, as required
  • Monitoring external trends and activity across the journey portfolio, actively identifying responses to market changes
  • Using innovative systems thinking to design digital solutions, identifying opportunities for streamlining work and deploying experimentation and testing to improve colleague experience, underpinned by Workday and the other systems we use for Join and Move processes
  • Making the best use of available resources to create value and minimise waste through each step and interaction, ensuring information flows and is shared openly in support of colleague centric culture
  • Managing incidents effectively, and looking for opportunities to increase resilience within the journey

To thrive in this role, you’ll need subject matter expertise in relevant HR product proposition and process design - preferably recruitment. You’ll have a proven ability to adapt to quickly changing environments, learn at pace, and encourage confidence in others.

You’ll also need:

  • In depth knowledge and experience of Workday for recruitment
  • Experience of driving and delivering innovative ideas through agile ways of working, looking at harnessing digital and technological advances that truly benefit our customers
  • The ability to identify and envision future trends and needs, utilising systems thinking and horizon scanning
  • Knowledge and experience of change delivery and experience design, utilising data and systems thinking
  • Effective communication skills to inspire and engage customers and colleagues
  • An understanding of investment funded change, and the need to prioritise effectively in order to deliver a return on investment
