JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver
REPORTING TO: Workshop Foreman
RESPONIBLE FOR:
Loading and unloading delivery van, collecting goods and transporting them to clients or customers. The primary duties are loading the vans and unloading on site to the customers
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Packing, loading and unloading delivery vans and trucks
- Maintaining regular communication with workshop foreman
- Checking all components are loaded on the delivery van for the jobs being delivered
- Dealing with customers in a professional manner
- Keeping the van clean and well maintained and topped up with fuel when required, ensure it is road worthy and report any defects or damages to foreman
- Assisting in the workshop when required
- Organising multiple drop offs and taking the most efficient route from pick up to drop off point
- Ensure you abide by rules of the road and drive with caution

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Sense of direction and knowledge of Northern Ireland area
- Possesses some knowledge of kitchen manufacturing industry
- Works well with a team
- Exhibits strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Have a full clean driving licence
- Demonstrates awareness of health and safety protocols
- Manages time efficiently
- Is able to multi task effectively
- Pays attention to detail
- Manual handling knowledge, job involves heavy lifting
Experience
Previous delivery driving experience
Working Week
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm/ may vary slightly
Overtime may be necessary at times depending on business needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
