Our Client a Finance specialist who has been supporting UK SME growth for over 40 years are looking to recruit a Collections Administrator.
The Collections Administrator will be responsible for the following:
• Deal appropriately with all incoming calls from customers, brokers, agents’ solicitors and ensure that data protection and money laundering guidelines are always followed.
• Make outbound calls during the role and ensure that best practice and appropriate telephone manner is used on all occasions.
• Handle arrears telephone calls from failed direct debits, to repossession calls
• Deal with the Administration/Liquidation of businesses, knowing what action to take and when
• Process credit and debit card payments
• Ensure legal notices, statements and appropriate letters are issued as and when required.
• Investigate customers and assets using the available online tools
You will need:
• Financial, analytical, and numerical skills (essential)
• Demonstrable writing skills (essential)
• Demonstrable telephone skills including negotiation skills (essential)
• Advanced experience in debt collections
• Administration experience within a financial background
