I'm working with a leading debt purchasing firm specializing in acquiring and managing distressed consumer debt portfolios.

ROLE

• Utilize advanced analytics to assess the performance of debt portfolios and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop predictive models and segmentation strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of collections efforts.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Design and implement collections strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, legal, and operations, to develop comprehensive collections strategies.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously refine and improve collections approaches.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of collections strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in Collections analytics and strategy within the debt purchasing or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SAS, Python, R).
• In-depth knowledge of debt collection processes, regulations, and compliance standards.
