- Salary Guide: £35,000 - £40,000
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with a 5pm finish on a Friday

Reporting to the senior management team, you’ll play an integral role within this company and will thrive in a role that offers autonomy and development.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of the collections department, actively establishing and growing a team of Collections Executives and maintaining a top-tier service is consistently delivered
- Conducting regular team reviews to identify and set goals, and to assess and maximise performance
- Acting as a mentor for each member of the collections department, working together to support their career development and progression
- Identifying areas of improvement and implementing new processes and systems to enhance collection effectiveness
- Ensuring all collections activity adheres to compliance regulations and laws, and liaising with legal professionals when complex cases arise
- Curating and implementing collections strategies that minimise financial risk and increase debt recovery efforts
- Managing the loan portfolio and monitoring difficult accounts to reduce risk to the business
- Reporting to the senior management team, sharing insights on collections, preparing in-depth reports, and highlighting areas of concern
Skills and Experience Required
- An experienced Collections Manager who boasts and history of actively recovering debts and overseeing a vast loan portfolio
- Demonstrates previous management experience and is skilled in leading high-performing teams
- Possesses a good understanding of laws and regulations related to the finance industry and collections activity
- Commercially and analytical minded individual who enjoys achieving targets and using data to drive decisions and strategies
- Superb communicator, able to articulate well and liaise confidently at all levels
