About the Team:

The Collections Team consists of five Collection Officers and one Senior Collections Officer who positively contribute towards the effective recovery of major works, ground rent and service charge debt from both leaseholders and freeholders.

We strive to provide the best customer experience for our leaseholders’ by responding to queries promptly in a detailed and friendly manner.

The team is very friendly and has a wealth of experience to be able to offer new starters guidance, help and advice.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of service charge accounts, working to targets set by the Collections Manager and will be responsible of the following tasks on day-to-day basis:

  • Monitor individual accounts, determining and taking appropriate action to ensure that account holders pay service charges in accordance with the obligations under their lease.
  • Arrange appointment face-to-face as appropriate; issue statements and other account documentation on request from the account holder CAB, and liaise with the CAB where necessary.
  • In line with the provisions of the lease; ensure that any billing errors are noted and corrected.
  • Contact other teams as necessary and monitor the progress of queries to ensure that the account holder receives a satisfactory response.
  • Authorise and check payment plans.
  • Maintain contact with account holders through letter, email, telephone
  • Request write-offs, write-backs, and other account adjustments as appropriate.
