Being a Traditional Firm, this will surely appeal to candidates who are looking a non-nonsense working environment, where the focus is geared very much around the client. In this varied role, you’ll service the needs of policyholders, providing administrative broking support to a wide range of clients. Duties will include, but not be limited to, handling renewals, providing quotations, processing endorsements and handling day to day enquiries. In conjunction with the Director, you’ll enjoy a good amount of interaction with clients, allowing you to build some great relationships. In this business, you’ll enjoy a heightened level of autonomy in comparison with many larger firms, such as which markets you can utilise, and how you operate. Refreshingly, there are no targets in this company!
Being a small, truly independent firm, there is scope to shape this role as you see fit. For example, should you so wish, there is scope to progress into an Account Executive position, or develop other skills which will complement the business.
It's essential that you have previous commercial or agricultural insurance experience, either from a broking or insurance company environment. Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised and efficient, with the ability to maintain strong working relationships with clients from all walks of life.
We are willing to consider candidates with just a couple of years’ experience, as well as veterans of the industry.
You’ll be rewarded with a competitive basic salary, which is likely to be up to circa £35K, but negotiable depending on skills and previous experience. You’ll also benefit from a hybrid-working arrangement, which will give you the opportunity to work a couple of days from home, should you so wish.
