Commercial Account Handler

The Company

Commercial Account Handler required to join an independent insurance broker based in the Wolverhampton area. This broker is looking to expand its team this year and has some exciting plans for further growth. They have an excellent reputation for the quality of service that they deliver for clients and have a close knit and friendly team.

The Role

The role will focus on providing exceptional client service to existing clients. You will get involved in broking support for renewals and handle any midterm adjustments, you will also be working alongside Account Executives on a day-to-day basis. Another key aspect of this post will be to build and maintain both client and insurer relationships over the telephone and to secure the best terms for the client. You will be dealing with clients that pay premiums between £5K – £20k with the odd larger client.

The Person

Our client is ideally looking for someone with strong customer service skills with a good knowledge of all the main commercial classes of insurance, including, PI, EL, PL, Business Interruption, Motor Fleet and Commercial Combined. Strong client relationship skills are essential for this role, with the ability to build high levels of rapport over the telephone. You will need to be a team player with high levels of positivity and professionalism.
