Reporting to the Finance Director, working as part of an experienced team, you will play a key role in financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support the commercial activities of the company.
Focusing on large key accounts which requires an eye for detail, good IT skills, and the confidence to build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams across the organisation to improve commerciality and financial understanding.
Your role:
- Undertake financial analysis on current and prospective large, and high value customers
- Prepare and present financial results and forecasts
- Report on actual and forecasted figures
- Review of statutory accounts
- Support commercial team on ad-hoc projects as they arise, including pricing considerations and financial modelling
- Develop data sets to show benchmark performance for different customer segments, to improve quality of analysis
Your background:
- Previous Accounting experience is essential, experienced in producing / reviewing statutory accounts
- Preferably qualified (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or similar) or near qualifying
- Ideally 2+ years’ post qualification experience
- Good knowledge of Excel
- You will be able to build and maintain effective relationships whilst working collaboratively with others
- Possess excellent numerical and communication skills required for analysing and presenting financial data
