Commercial Accountant

IPS Finance have partnered with a brand management company which work with some of the leading international names in sport.
This a hybrid role with study support.
With a turnover of £80m the Commercial Accountant role is a highly visible role which reports to the commercial finance manager. The role may suit a part qualified management accountant who is looking to gain more commercial experience and business partnering skills.
The role includes;
Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Support the production of accurate and timely financial reports to aid strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support budgetary control and cost management.

Commercial Support:

• Provide financial insights and support to various business units, including sales, marketing, and operations.
• Assist in the evaluation of commercial opportunities and business cases.

Month-End Processes:

• Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
