Commercial Administrator
Hampshire Recruitment Services are delighted to represent a well established, high quality design & construction company, running multiple £million projects, who are rapidly expanding & now need a Commercial Administrator to help a team of quantity surveyors & the accountant with paying sub-contractors/suppliers.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Location: Aldermaston
Responsibilities
- Assist the accounts team with Sage data entry, processing of supplier payments and producing reports.
- Assist the accounts team with weekly contractor payments.
- Issue weekly invoices to the relevant team members for approval.
- Assist with invoice queries and general admin.
- Tracking of subcontractor retention releases and client retention releases.
- Assist in raising purchase orders and maintaining the company purchase order register.
- Reconcile invoices against the original purchase order to ensure they are correct
- Assist the buyer with new supplier accounts and procurement of office items, materials and site consumables.
- Monitor stock levels at company premises for materials, office equipment, PPE and replace as required
- Assist the commercial team with distribution of contract information, maintaining registers.
- Assist the commercial team with collation and identification of cost information.
Key Skills and Experience
- Ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting demands
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of other databases and Sage preferrable
- Ability to successfully engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Clean UK driving license
