This is a unique and dynamic opportunity within a rapidly growing international finance team who are seeking a Commercial Analyst. With a focus on innovation and expansion, the team is seeking a proactive and inquisitive individual to drive valuable insights and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pricing trials, analyse trends, and identify patterns to optimize performance.
- Perform analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Collaborate with buyers and merchandising teams to understand market dynamics and opportunities.
- In the first 6-12 months, the successful candidate will be proactive and inquisitive, taking the time to learn the business and collaborate effectively with our commercial and wholesale teams. You'll have the opportunity to grow and develop within a varied and interesting role, focusing on analysis that drives value to the business.
Requirements:
- Previous commercial experience, preferably within the Retail, Consumer or FMCG sector.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with data analysis and modelling.
- Proven ability to investigate trends and patterns, with a curious and inquisitive mindset.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and tell a compelling story from the numbers.
- ACA Qualified or Part-qualified CIMA/ ACCA from industry or actively pursuing relevant qualifications, this will support for continued study.
