Senior Commercial Analyst - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom

Buzz Bingo is looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Nottingham office. Our successful candidate will be pivotal to our ongoing success and will be offered a competitive package of GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position and the successful candidate can work on a hybrid basis with occasional travel to our Nottingham Office

About you

As an ideal candidate for this role you will have a degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or a related field and have gone on to achieve a finance qualification like CIMA/ACCA. You will also have 5-10 years of experience in Finance roles with several years In analytical roles or similar.

Other qualities that will make you stand out from other candidates include advanced Excel skills, experience with SQL databases or other Business Intelligence systems for data mining, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

You will be comfortable working autonomously, cross functionally and dealing with senior management

• Business partnering with senior management from all functions
• Analysis of business performance, generating insights that will inform decision making
• Analysis of initiatives and trials, making informed recommendations on next steps
• Highlighting risks and opportunities from trends seen within the data
• Identifying gaps in MI, gathering requirements, scoping and designing new reporting
• Supporting the business with the production of budgets and forecasts
• Supporting other members of the team, sharing your expertise to help them develop

• Significant experience of analysing large volumes of data from a variety of sources using a range of approaches and techniques, presenting findings in the most appropriate way for the target audience
• Experience of cultivating relationships across all levels of a business
• Experience of improving on existing, or implementing new, working practices
• Experience of delivering consistently in a fast-paced environment whilst taking responsibility for generating many of your own work streams and prioritizing focus where it will have the greatest impact
• Experience within a finance function and a understanding of P&L lines (preferred)
• Experience of working with IT DBA teams on maintaining and improving data provision and integrity (preferred)

• CIMA/ACCA qualified
