My client is based within the West Midlands, with over 30 years industry experience. Over the last few years, they have become one of the fastest growing insurance brokers in the UK, offering competitive premiums and award-winning customer service. They have an opportunity for a commercial Claims Handler to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify policy information and coverage details.
- Investigate and gather necessary documentation to support claim processing.
- Communicate with policyholders, providers, and other relevant parties to obtain additional information or clarify details.
- Analyse claims for potential fraud or irregularities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for claims processing.
- Maintain organised records of claims and related documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proficient computer skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and policies is an advantage.
This position requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail. As a Commercial Claims Handler, you will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and analysing insurance claims. You will need to have excellent clerical skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with policyholders, providers, and other parties involved in the claims process. Proficiency in data entry and computer systems is essential for this role.
Hours: Full-time, 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday. (35-hours a week)
Salary: £25,000.00 - £30,000.00 per annum
