The role:
As the Channel Head's direct report, you will drive the growth strategy to acquire new customers in multiple channels such as Wholesale, Convenience, Independents & Foodservice. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive attitude to tackle any challenges whilst establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the channels and leverage on these commercial relationships to achieve sales targets.
You:
- FMCG sales experience working within a Branded or Own Label food organisation.
- Entrepreneurial – of the highest level.
- Knowledge of Out of Home channels – Wholesale, Convenience and/or Foodservice
- A track record in developing new business and existing accounts.
- Sound commercial acumen and the ability to build client relationships.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Good access to Hertfordshire 2 days p/wk
This role will suit someone with a Placement Year or 6mths experience working in a sales / commercial role within FMCG.
