About the job
We are looking for ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance Tribe in our office in Manchester. Our Commercial Finance Team are responsible for business partnering with our Sales and Product Teams by providing relevant insight and analysis, along with effective challenging to help them drive performance.
As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will provide Commercial Finance support to either our Retailer Development & Support teams or Commercial Product teams, influencing and driving them to execute their full-year financial plan. You will be responsible for leading the annual financial plan and rolling forecast processes for the teams you support and will provide monthly and weekly insight into performance.
In addition, you will proactively seek to understand new products to allow you to develop suitable KPIs and materials to drive performance conversations with stakeholders. You will undertake a monthly review and analysis of revenue and other key metrics. You will work with our Business Insight and Reporting teams to ensure relevant information meets business needs to drive strategic decisions. Ad-hoc analysis to support business requirements will be completed as required.
The role requires a strong commercial awareness, a proactive approach, and a problem-solving mindset to demonstrate tangible business value to financial and non-financial stakeholders. You will be working with a large amount of data to deliver insight and drive performance with the operational leads. Through a deep understanding of your business areas, you will be able to highlight risks and opportunities and objectively challenge and influence stakeholders to help drive commercially compelling and financially secure decisions.

What we're looking for
- Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Great relationship-building and influencing skills to manage and inspire multiple stakeholders from a financial and non-financial backgrounds.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience modelling data
- Curious individual with strong commercial awareness, not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset, Ability to work autonomously.
