The business has invested heavily across new revenue streams under the new visionary management team, which looks set to cement the business as the market leader. You will be joining a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. looking to build a best-in-class finance function to support the growth of the business.
Collaborating with the Commercial Finance Manager, this position provides the opportunity to play a key role in the next stage of change and transformation across the business as the work to achieve their key strategic ambitions through insightful, value adding analysis that drive the commercial decision making process.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategizing, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with the local business area, and monitoring and reporting on progress towards achieving financial targets.
- Offering guidance on decisions aimed at cost reduction and revenue increase, leveraging insights and data analysis.
- Implementing robust control over all capital expenditure projects by establishing clear project accountability and ownership.
- Engaging in business partnering with line management teams to influence optimal finance and business decisions.
- Assisting in the supplier cost reduction program across all external supplier expenses.
- Collaborating with various non-financial stakeholders to ensure that major business decisions are made with a comprehensive understanding of their financial implications.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
- Excellent IT literacy, with broad working experience with MS Excel
- A natural team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and co-operation
- A proactive individual, able to explore issues and generate new ideas in developing continuous improvement measures
