Commercial Finance Business Partner

Summary
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established, very reputable global business in Basingstoke.  Hybrid working is available, and the client offers great flexibility.   Our client operates globally and is looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.  This role will support a particular division within the business in providing analysis and be the central Business Partner for profitability expansion and projects related to the wider commercial team and finance.

A strong focus will be to build and develop relationships with the top management team to ensure a strong connection between financial needs and business strategy.  You will also advise stakeholders and business leaders by providing relevant information in the decision-making process.

The Role

The role responsibilities are as follows:

• Preparing and publishing timely results
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and forecasts for the business division
• Partnering with business leaders to identify action plans for continuous improvements of margins.
• Prepare financial models and executive presentations.
• Building and developing relationships with the top Management team to ensure a strong connection between financial needs and business strategy within HQ 
• Advise partners within and providing information to maximise the Company’s results and optimise effectiveness of the budget
• Leads European projects with financial scope
• Preparing and publishing timely month-end results, including Quarterly Business Review deck both internally and externally
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and forecasts for the business division
• Partnering with business leaders to identify action plans for continuous improvement of margins
• Assist the HR & FIN community to ensure the respect of the HC and payroll guidelines, including vendor funded HC.
• Be the trusted and reliable finance advisor for business areas of responsibility, providing expert advice for vendor onboarding and new contracts.
• Supporting client teams in getting senior leadership approval for new programmes by preparing financial presentations and responding to requests timely

Skills, knowledge and Experience

It would be useful if you have the below:

• Qualified / Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• 3+ years of experience in a Finance Business Partner role
• Be analytical – have an ability to focus complex numbers into meaningful analysis, ability to deal with highly confidential information and prioritise appropriately.
• Strong people skills.
