The Opportunity:
The role is responsible for driving business growth and financial performance of the global Cyber business through providing strategic financial guidance and partnership to the COO and CRO. The role is responsible for leading a global team of Finance Business Partners (incl. statutory Finance Directors) and will play a critical role in optimizing profitability and ensuring effective financial management across the Group.
Key Accountabilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and communicate a clear financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives
and growth plans.
Lead the financial planning and budgeting process for the Cyber business, collaborating with key stakeholders to set financial targets, forecast revenue and expenses and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
Provide strategic financial partnership and analysis to support decision-making and drive effective resource allocation.
- Financial Performance Management:
Monitor and analyzekey financial metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
Identify areas of financial risk and opportunity and develop and implement strategies to optimize
profitability and mitigate risks.
Drive financial performance improvement initiatives, collaborating
with cross-functional teams to enhance revenue generation, cost control, and
operational efficiency.
- Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with business leaders, providing financial insights, analysis, and support to drive commercial decision-making and business growth.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing financial expertise and guidance on strategic initiatives, investments, and business development opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, operations and finance teams, fostering effective collaboration and alignment.
- Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a global team of Finance Business Partners, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and career growth.
Set clear goals and expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to ensure the team's success.
Desirable Requirements:
- Preferably an Accounting qualification with the expectation of ACA, ACCA or CIMA Significant demonstrable experience in a leadership role within Commercial Finance .
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the business.
- Demonstrated experience in driving financial performance improvement and optimizing
- profitability.
- Strong financial acumen and expertise, with a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and financial modelling
- software.
