Job Description
I am supporting a household name in the sector to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager (12 month FTC) for this full-time, hybrid and exciting opportunity based at their offices in St Albans.
The company are in the FMCG space and a global powerhouse operating in more than 50 countries. They are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to lead the business partnering across business units, maximising efficiencies between them - you will also be responsible for ensuring financial management is produced with accuracy and attention to detail.
Main Duties:
- Train and development of existing finance staff (transactional)
- Offer financial insight and challenge in planning.
- Provide month-end performance data and commentary for strategic decision-making.
- Create plans to surpass Budget P&L targets.
- Conduct proactive customer and product profit analysis.
- Foster Finance department relationships for comprehensive P&L understanding.
- Produce accurate balance sheets and control items.
- Support Senior Finance Team with commercial analysis, reporting and modelling.
The successful candidate will be an experienced finance professional holding a relevant qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or be actively studying and close to the finalist level. You will have experience working within FMCG/Manufacturing or similar and be an excellent leader, communicator and team player.
Technically the role requires someone with advanced excel and someone with excellent business partnering and senior stakeholder engagement. You will be a driver and able to commute to the offices in St Albans for 3 days per week, working remotely for 2 days and be available to start this 12 month FTC in January.
