Commercial Insurance Account Handler

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join an unrivalled Insurance Brokerage based in Stanway, that is expanding their team due to growth.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant team, dealing with all enquiries relating to general administration, renewals, sales, mid-term adjustments & claims administration. If you are a career driven individual looking to join a young and expanding company, this could be the role for you!

Main Duties:

• Helping clients through the process of obtaining commercial / SME lines insurance.
• Provide quotations to clients in writing, on the telephone, by email using the Company's computer systems.
• Resolve client problems and handle mid-term adjustments as required.
• Learn and understand the software and database in order to input data; produce renewal invitations and certificates of insurance.
• Sell new products as required; cross sell additional insurance products to existing clients.
• Work within FCA rules and guidelines and follow the company's compliance procedures and weekly training schedules.
• Work towards meeting individual targets and helping the team to meet team targets.
• To carry out office administration and client service duties as required.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2/3 years previous experience in a similar role
• Professional and polite telephone manner and excellent communication skills
• I.T Literate
• Excellent attention to detail
• Numeracy skills
• Positive, keen and motivated individual
• Acturis experience is desirable
