We have a brilliant opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join an unrivalled Insurance Brokerage based in Stanway, that is expanding their team due to growth.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant team, dealing with all enquiries relating to general administration, renewals, sales, mid-term adjustments & claims administration. If you are a career driven individual looking to join a young and expanding company, this could be the role for you!
Main Duties:
- Helping clients through the process of obtaining commercial / SME lines insurance.
- Provide quotations to clients in writing, on the telephone, by email using the Company’s computer systems.
- Resolve client problems and handle mid-term adjustments as required.
- Learn and understand the software and database in order to input data; produce renewal invitations and certificates of insurance.
- Sell new products as required; cross sell additional insurance products to existing clients.
- Work within FCA rules and guidelines and follow the company’s compliance procedures and weekly training schedules.
- Work towards meeting individual targets and helping the team to meet team targets.
- To carry out office administration and client service duties as required.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2/3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Professional and polite telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- T Literate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Numeracy skills
- Positive, keen and motivated individual
- Acturis experience is desirable
