A well-established Commercial Insurance brokerage firm operating across diverse insurance sectors is seeking experienced Commercial Account Handlers to join their team in Stockport. Key Responsibilities for this Commercial Account Handler Role:
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients, ensuring their insurance requirements are met per service levels
- Conduct pre-renewal preparation work, send renewal packs with accurate documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Maintain clear, complete, and up-to-date client files, notes, and records
- Adhere to FCA Principles for Business and comply with FCA and internal procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications for Commercial Account Handlers:
- Experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Handler
- Background in commercial combined, motor, property, or liability insurance (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational abilities to manage workload effectively
- Ability to evaluate client needs through questioning and analysis
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
- Exceptional communication skills, including telephone, verbal, and written
- Proven ability in selling, cross-selling, and building rapport with clients and underwriters
