Job Description
- Review, negotiate, and draft a wide range of commercial agreements, including and not limited to franchise agreements agreements, shareholder agreements, NDA's, Distribution agreements, Sales agency agreements, IT system SaaS, tender documents, Marketing services tenders, film location agreements, Due diligence reviews, Company acquisition, Corporate reconstruction, IP Settlement agreements.
- Provide legal advice to various business units within the organisation.
- Identify, manage and mitigate legal risks and issues.
- Manage external counsel where necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and advise the business accordingly.
- Support the legal team in various legal projects.
- Ensure all actions taken are in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
The successful 'Commercial Lawyer' should have:
- A law degree and current practising certificate.
- Experience in dealing with a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Good knowledge of retail law.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide practical and business-focused legal advice.
