Damicor are recruiting for a Commercial Manager for the UK's largest M&E engineering provider at the their off site solutions facility in Liverpool.

Role Purpose:
The Commercial Manager is responsible for the financial management of standard projects from inception, from tendering to, negotiating and agreeing contracts, and then commercial delivering Projects often worth many millions of pounds. They are an integral part of the project senior leadership team where they hold key responsibilities associated with the commercial and financial success of each project.
What you'll be doing:
This Role is for our Off-Site Solitons Factory.
You will be based 3 days at our Factory, 2 days Remote working.
As a Commercial Manager you will:
- Understand how a facility runs
- Understand how economic factors that affects the industry
- Manage the feedback of commercial data to Planning and Estimating
- Manage the preparation of the monthly commercial reports
- Be able to report and explain the commercial progress to senior divisional staff
- Manage the feedback of commercial data to Planning, Estimating, Marketing and Sales
- Lead commercial aspects with Customer and stakeholders.
- Establish client supply chain requirements & advise on alternative forms of contract &; procurement arrangements - Formulate management plans for resource procurement.
- Experience in the recruitment and retention of staff
- Manages and oversee team reviews, identify & target the needs of individuals & self
- Determine project commercial staff requirement & liaison with HR for recruitment including temporary staff.
Who we're looking for:
The following qualifications are essential:
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent;
- Member or Fellow of RICS, ICES or CIOB.
The following qualities/experience are desirable:
- Experience within an industrial setting
