Value Match are working with Local Government organisation to source a Commercial Process Manager for an interim contract.
The role is hybrid/ London based 50% including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, full time and on a 6 month contract which is likely to be extended.
Salary up to £620/day based on experience.
The Commercial Process Manager will need the ability to drive change and be comfortable leading transactional procurements whilst category plans are being effected.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in public sector procurement, with a detailed knowledge of SAP Ariba.They need to be able to work with minimal management input, but to escalate matters where necessary and manage small teams – 2-3 personnel.
Experience required.
- Detailed end-to-end procurement knowledge.
- Detailed knowledge SAP Ariba.
- Ability to develop and simplify collateral (templates), processes, systems and procedures without reducing effectiveness and control.
- Experience of Public Sector Procurement, including OJEU/FTS, PCR 2015 and Contracts Finder.
- Knowledge and experience of using wider public sector frameworks.
- Service focused, and good communication skills.
- Contract management experience.
