Commercial Sales Estimator
Dinnington, Sheffield (Office based role, 8:00am – 4:00 pm)
£30,000 to £40,000 DOE
Elevation are excited to be working with a growing Sheffield business who specialise in premium products within the construction industry to recruit a Commercial Sales Estimator to join their dynamic team.
Your role will be pivotal in generating leads, crafting quotations, fostering client relationships, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Utilise prospecting tools, historical data, cold calling, and marketing campaigns to generate leads.
- Prepare detailed quotations for bespoke Secondary Glazing installations in Commercial premises using our proprietary software.
- Estimate project costs accurately.
- Cultivate long-term professional relationships with clients, maintaining regular contact via CRM.
- Negotiate terms with clients, ensuring optimal margins and contract conditions.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to convert quotations into orders.
- Develop product/application knowledge to provide expert consulting advice to clients (training provided).
Skills & Experience Required:
- Estimating experience is essential
- Experience in the Construction Industry is advantageous.
- Commercially savvy with excellent negotiation skills.
- Experience in the Construction Industry is advantageous.
- Background in Sales with expertise in Lead Generation, relationship building, and phone-based account management.
- Proficient in preparing quotations with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Persistence and resilience in navigating the sales process.
- CAD/Drawing experience is a plus.
