Salary/Rate: 15- 18 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Vehicle Fitter/Repairer to join our client's team in Blackburn. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a variety of vehicles, including those constructed with steel, aluminium, timber, and fiberglass.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and bodywork issues on Commercial Vehicles
Perform metal fabrication tasks, including welding, cutting, and shaping metal components
Repair accident damage to vehicles, ensuring the restoration of structural integrity and functionality
Efficiently strip, refit, and repair interior and exterior panels and trims
Refurbish vehicle interiors to a high standard
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Fitter/repairer, with a strong understanding of mechanical and bodywork principles
Experience working with various materials, including steel, aluminum, timber, and fiberglass
Excellent practical skills, including the ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
A strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A valid driving license is preferred

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Work Location:
In person, Blackburn (relocation before starting work is required)
