This position will be mainly baking and assisting the Chef, but also assisting with general kitchen duties.
What you'll be doing...
As a Commis Chef you will work alongside the Chef
Responsibilities:
- Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
- This job involves baking, and will be your priority.
- Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
- Operate the till point as required, ensuring correct procedures are used
- Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, neatly presented and stocked at all times
- Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
Elior is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Candidates that are shortlisted for this role, will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and two suitable references.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 8.00am-3.00pm. Term time only, 44.6 weeks worked.
