About the Role
COMMIS CHEF at Evergreen Restaurant - Manchester Airport
JOIN OUR TEAM AND RECEIVE A GENEROUS £400 JOINING BONUS! *
Hours per week: minimum of 24+ hours per week
Shift patterns: scheduled between 3 am and midnight
Pay rate: £11.65 per hour + SERVICE CHARGE IN ADDITION TO BASE SALARY! (£12.85 ph for every hour worked between midnight and 6 am )
We are looking for Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team at our soon-to-be-open Evergreen Restaurant!
As a Commis Chef, you will work a variety of shifts between the hours of 3 am and Midnight, between Monday and Sunday.
As a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to £12.85 per hour!
Previous kitchen experience is desired for this role!
Responsibilities for Commis Chef:
- Preparing orders with accuracy
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Demonstrate knowledge of brand products - full training will be provided
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Consistently meet shift/daily average spending, waste, and portion control targets
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance in work areas.
Requirements for Commis Chef:
- Candidates must be over 18 years old or over to perform certain duties on shift
- Successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations.
