SalaryLangdale Chase Hotel, which sits on the banks of beautiful Lake Windermere, is currently undergoing a full significant refurbishment of the hotel, ready for re-opening in Autumn 2023.
We are now looking to appoint a passionate Commis Chef to report to the Executive Chef to ensure the delivery of our delicious menu and cuisines to our guests and ensure an exceptional guest experience. We are looking for this role to start August 2023.
Your day to day;
- Responsibility for preparation, cooking and presentation of food for the property’s menu in line with specifications with the Kitchen and food service team
- Providing high levels of guest service throughout the food service
- Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness standards of the kitchen are always maintained
- Daily cleaning, deep cleaning and sanitising the kitchen as required and directed by the Executive Chef
- Supporting the property with ensuring any materials and waste is recycled correctly
Who are we looking for?
You will have worked previously in a similar Commis Chef role and will have worked in a high quality Four-Star or Five-Star hotel and have demonstratable experience in a fine dining environment. You will proactively be able to work calmly and well in a pressurised environment, having high levels of self-motivation.
You will have exemplary customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a passionate, loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner. You will have a strong work ethic, good timekeeping and the ability to multi-task whilst working in a pressurised environment.
