Responsibilities:
- Ensuring smooth operations during service hours
- Collaborate with the culinary team to prepare and present high-quality food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Help with food production, including chopping, cutting, and cooking ingredients
- Support team management efforts by training and mentoring junior staff members
- Take on leadership responsibilities in the absence of higher-level kitchen staff
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate food presentation and portion control
