Commis Chef

We are seeking a dedicated Commis to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, and supporting the chefs in creating exceptional dishes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in food production under the guidance of the chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Support with food preparation tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Uphold high standards of quality in food preparation and presentation

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.55-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 48 per week
